Dreadfull day today,did not stop the local wildlife from being out and about,two woodcock were in the dunes north of pond 35,seeing them fairly regularly but don’t know what the attraction is for them as they are seen usually in the wet scrub area.
Put a lone short eared owl up further on looked wet and forlorn not like those sighted earlier in the month (see pic).Hope this weather picks up soon or the birds are going to suffer.
