Thursday 31st December

The full moon was on the 30th, but on the 29th we had a glimpse just before it set north of the Isle of Man and the colour was brilliant orange/red, see photos , unfortunately only taken with a phone. Then later that day it was caught again just after sunset.
Today we set the phone up on Geoff’s seat on Slow motion video, see attached some snapshots,
This cold weather the birds are all waiting in the trees and can’t get to the food quick enough.Chaffinches, Bullfinches, Robins, Blackbirds, Blue, Great and Coal tits, occasional Reed Bunting and Dunnock, Woodpecker, and Long-tailed tits.

All the best for the New Year and it must be better than 2020.
