Thursday 19th November

Today has been the first clear day for quite a while, the reserve is under water and the ponds are now starting to fill up.
At the feeders the Coal Tits have returned for winter and we managed to take a few shots of them feeding on Geoff’s bench, using the video setting on a phone.
On the way back there was a lovely view of nine Whooper swans flying over the tip,

Looking through some old photos was one of a small Birch tree in a dip between the two square ponds, taken in 2010, and after 10years it has grown quite a bit, see the difference in photos..
