Managed to take a shot of a Curlew flying over, they move with the tides travelling from east to west and vice versa.
I spotted a Blackheaded Gull treading in shallow water, fasinating to know how they learned the technique, must be catching small shrimp. Herring and Lesser Black Back gulls also do something similar but on grass, they carry out a little dance which attracts the worms to the surface.
Earlier this year Carol Klien from Gardeners World visited the site looking at different types of flower, the results of the vist will be shown on BBC2 at 08.30 Friday night.
