Lynne and myself now do an early morning walk as far as the reserve and this morning the long pond was very popular, with at least three pairs of Canadas, one pair already nesting, three Herons, one lonely Swan, a pair of Oystercatchers plus a female Tufted on one island, and close by in the water was a Coot, a rarity for north Walney.
Attached are a few photos.
