When we were talking to the rep carrying out the bird survey for the airfield, last week he said he had seen a few Siskin mixed in a flock of Goldfinches. Today on the feeders in amongst the Goldfinches were a few Siskin and they are as tetchy as the Goldfinch. Photos are a bit grainy due to the poor light but they show there temperament.
Also today we saw a few Swallows flying through, and still more geese on there way south.
