Sunday 11th September

The Swans have not managed their brood very well this season, only one cygnet remains the last two died last weekend. As previously written, they appear one day looking under the weather and not interested in eating and the next, don’t turn up.

The bird population has dropped now Autumn is here but there is a little insect life, a few Common Darters are still flying and the odd Speckled Wood flits around the Willow trees.
