Wednesday 13th June

A fairly quiet morning, still very cool for this time of year, only the odd small heath flying about, but no dragonflies.
The Natterjack tadpoles are getting bigger and soon will be sprouting their legs.
We did see quite a few Whitethroat with the little ones in tow, see pics.
Also it’s that time of year again, the Bee Orchids are starting to show, keep your eyes open when walking over the old Vickers tip, once you spot one the others will quickly follow, see pic.
