Sunday was an exceptionally clear day, with views of the Isle of Man, St Bees Head and Snowdonia in Wales, see attached shots.
Ragwort is not appreciated by many but butterflies are one of the few that love it, see photos.
We found a few Purple Viper’s Bugloss plants, growing in the same location as the Viper’s Bugloss, on the new path approximately 100mtrs from Airfield gate 4.
