Quite a surprise today when checking pond 35 for new natterjack strings, one new one with the pair of toads still laying.See attached photo,and if you look very closely, i am sure thats a smile.

A pair of female Roe Deer at the old rifle butts quite a close sighting as I came down wind of them no sighting of a male though.

I have seen the buck there earlier this year and took a great photo, not seen them for a while, but we met a couple this morning who had seen a buck and doe together down amongst the wiilow trees.
