Yesterday, came across a skylark in the grass and took the attached pic. Also found a Lead Belle Moth, part of carpet family and has distinguished teardrop mark on wing.
Today we were crossing the fields and two Meadow Pipits took off and carried out an aerobatic display, managed to get a couple of shots, notice the very long back claw, a dangerous weapon.
In the second field we found a Lapwing’s egg and appears to have been eaten by another bird, probably Carrion Crow
