Cold windy day today, did not see the cuckoo that has been here all week but did see a short eared owl which has been around for a while now.Spotted two house martins yesterday,never seen those on the reserve before. The swan is still sat tight on her nest,cannot be much longer now ‘till we see the first cygnets
