Saturday 9th January

The Ponds are all frozen now and the ducks have gone, two swans which have now adopted this area, older male and younger female, still with a lighter colour beak, see photos taken on first square pond.
A Few photos taken at feeders, a jay with peanut, three are regular visitors, other of a Robin with suet pellet, quite a few first thing and no fighting while there is plenty of food and lastly a female Blackbird, many turn up as soon as the food is on the ground.
The sunrise this morning was really good but unfortunately it soon disappeared behind low clouds.
Lastly three swans flew over, could be same three as the other day, after a quick look over the frozen ponds flew off over the channel.
