Wednesday 3rd April

We had a pleasant surprise yesterday morning, besides the beautiful sun, there were three Redpols on the niger seed, and there were two today, we have seen the odd one in the past, think they must be flying with the Goldfinch.

Over the last few week we have seen a couple of Longtailed Tits regularly at the feeders, hopefully they may nest in the vicinity.

Reed Buntings are very numerous this year sometimes there are five males at the feeders, but today one of the males was seen to be ringed on its left leg, have blown up the photo but unfortunately can only see one side, if it hangs about for a few days, may get a better shot.
