Monday 6th August

Well so much for bragging of not getting wet on Saturday, yesterday we were caught in a thunder storm, rain and hail, with no waterproofs, a complete change of clothing required.
Today has produced lots of new Common Blue damselflies, a few Common Blue butterflies and on the west side of the sandunes quite a few Grayling butterflies.
This afternoon I found a spiders cocoon, think it’s a Wolf Spider, one spider is inside, laying eggs, I think and the other just underneath, or it could be another predator spider. Not up on these creatures any one know if type is correct etc???.
