Following on from Bob’s post yesterday, attached photos of Goldfinches feeding.
When we arrived at the seat a Kestrel had kindly left a pellet, there have been about a half dozen recently but we have only spotted it once sat on the top of the seat.
The wreck at the north end is very clear at the moment, see photo.
The kite surfers have been enjoying the wind and on the way back yesterday pm they were achieving some great jumps, see photo.
On another subject altogether. When party ballons are released they have to come down somewhere, we are often finding them caught up in trees, bushes and fences. They take a long time to decay, look terrible and the plastic line can get tangled around legs of birds or animals.
